Thank you for your interest in adopting a bunny from Line 8 Lops. Below is how our adoption process works.
Adopting an Adult Holland Lop: Adult rabbits available through Line 8 Lops are listed on our Available Now page. Unlike baby rabbits, adults do not require a reservation process and, if marked ready to go, may leave for their new home at any time.
For adult rabbits, I offer a meet-and-greet appointment so you can spend some time getting to know their personality and determine whether they are the right fit for your family. If you decide you’d like to move forward with the adoption and everything feels like a good match, your rabbit can go home with you the same day.
Many families love adopting an adult rabbit because their personality, litter habits, and temperament are already well established, making it easier to find the perfect companion.
Adopting a Baby Holland Lop:
1. JOIN THE WAITLIST
Families interested in adopting are encouraged to join our waitlist. Waitlist families receive early updates when new litters arrive and are given the first opportunity to reserve babies before they are publicly announced. You can join the waitlist here.
2. AVAILABLE ANNOUNCEMENTS
A few days before babies turn 4 weeks old, waitlist families will be able to view the babies photos, gender, and personality traits on our websites "Available" page. This gives plenty of time to get to know the babies and make your selections. We recommend having a second choice in mind to avoid disappointment. At 4 weeks old, we will officially open reservations to the waitlist first.
3. RESERVING YOUR BUNNY
Waitlist reservations open at 10:00 AM on the posted date.
To reserve:
• Text 705-229-6139 with the bunny(s) name(s)
• We respond in order messages are received
• If multiple messages are received for the same bunny at 10:00 AM, we respond in the order you have joined the waitlist
• Once your choice is confirmed available, you may send your deposit. Please wait for confirmation before sending payment. A 50% non-refundable deposit holds your bunny until pickup at 7-8 weeks old and is applied toward the total adoption fee. E-transfer can be sent to line8lops@gmail.com. The remaining balance is due at pickup.
Any bunnies not reserved by the waitlist will then be made available to the public the following day.
